STAG offers a taster of tap classes at the age of 3 years as part of our foundation class. This is usually a favourite for 3 year olds as they get to make lots of noise as tap is the loudest dance subject. Tap is a fun class but, is also quite difficult to master and get the beats and rhythm correct.  

It requires stamina effort and dedication but gives fun, laughter and enjoyment as its rewards. Pupils can take exams from the age of 5 years old  providing they have reached the necessary standard.

Tap is also a favourite with adults as it is an excellent way to keep fit. We do offer adult classes. Our adults participate in our shows but they do not enter exams.
