Modern dance is offered as a taster to children from the age of 3 years in our foundation class.

It is an enjoyable class using funky music. This class is less noisy than a Tap class but not as serene as a Ballet class. However it requires the same level of commitment and focus that both Ballet and Tap require..

  Modern also involves lots of technical exercises.
Exams can be taken from the age of 5years, as with the other subjects providing the necessary work is known and the teacher believes the student is ready to sit an exam.
